What you will do:

You will be responsible for:

  • Assuming most aspects of bookkeeping function, more specifically, recognition and measurement of all transactions with vendors and third-party service providers in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures on accounts payable system;
  • Maintenance of monthly purchase records calculation of appropriate withholding taxes;
  • Preparation of disbursement and payment vouchers;
  • Preparation of journal accounting entries;
  • Preparation of all monthly returns and or declarations to be submitted to the General Department of Taxation;
  • Preparation of the List of Payables as a basis for the prioritization of payments;
  • Preparation of all bank reconciliation and preparation of all journal vouchers to take up all journal adjustments for all reconciling items;
  • Performing any and all additional work delegated by the Finance Manager and CFO.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or Banking Management.
  • Familiarity of and practical experience in applying IFRS;
  • Minimum working experience of 2 years in bookkeeping function and related field is required for this position.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English communication.
  • Proficiency in MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Email.
  • An honest and excellent character with high commitment to work.
  • Good reporting skills.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to solve problems.
  • Good interpersonal skills and team-orientation.
